So, you’ve decided to try and hire a virtual assistant…it can be a daunting and overwhelming process. I know the feeling. When I had to expand my team I was so stressed and concerned about things like quality of work and dependability. Believe me, I understand the struggle of handing over not just access but also trust!
Here’s a little bit more about my training and experience so you can see if we’d be a good fit! I’m also happy to provide email and phone contacts for current and past clients for any potential client as references.
My Training & Experience
I started off in this business working for Michele Brosius at Just2Sisters (now Midlife Healthy Living), and quickly realized there were SO many things I could focus on. I slowly expanded my business and my skills to incorporate tasks that my clients required.
What started out as chore threads and roundups quickly transformed into WordPress formatting, ghost writing, and social media management. In recent years I’ve started to focus on Search Engine Optimization and more research based content creation.
I’ve had the pleasure to work with some really great people in the last 5-6 years. They have all taught me things but lucky for me some of them also introduced me to new skills. I’ve learned Pinterest from the master, and Instagram from amazing influencers with an eye for photos that leave me speechless on a regular basis.
On a more structured basis I’ve been able to experience some of the best courses out there as well. I’ve completed the #Jeff course, Sticky Blogging SEO course, and the Bloggers Tell All course. All of these amazing classes have given me the information I need to provide the best services to my clients.
Classes only teach you so much. On top of those classes I have nearly two years of SEO experience (and that number is growing everyday as this is one of my most requested services). I’ve been optimizing posts for clients, writing SEO rich content from scratch, and working with other clients to build a database of relevant keywords that are reasonable to rank for in order to build consistent and reliable traffic from search engines. Relying on social media in the blogging world today is risky and I wouldn’t want that for myself or my amazing clients!
Time and Effort
I would never expect a potential client to just “take my word for it” I have a list of past and present clients that are are always happy to provide references for everything from my work ethic to my sense of humor 🙂 If you have reservations about hiring a VA these ladies and gentlemen will change your mind!
My goal is to make your life easier and less stressful so please feel free to reach out today and connect with me. You can reach your goals…and I can help you have the hours in the day to do just that.
